The Unit of Environmental Science & Technology (UEST) of the National Technical University of Athens was present at the 8th International Exhibition Verde.Tec 2026 (February 27 – March 1, Mediterranean Exhibition CenterPaiania) — Greece’s leading event for environmental technologies, circular economy, and smart cities.

At Stand C12a, we showcased the UNITED CIRCLES project alongside our other EU-funded research initiatives. Over three days, we engaged with a wide range of visitors, from technology providers and waste management organisations to professionals, local government representatives, and researchers, sharing our vision for circular Construction & Demolition Waste (C&DW) value chains in Greece.

As a Greek partner participating in the EMT Mirror Hub, we’re actively building a network of collaborators who can contribute innovative technologies and solutions for C&DW upcycling and resource recovery. Verde.tec proved to be a valuable platform for exactly these conversations and for connecting with stakeholders who share our commitment to closing material loops in the construction sector.
